| Finale is the last foal from
Hazira El Shams. Due to foaling complications she was literally cut from
her dying mother. This game little mare had brownish-purple gums, was
placed on oxygen and prayers were uttered and fingers crossed. Amazingly
she rallied, struggled to her feet and started looking for food. She is
drinking from a bowl or bucket now - and has Shikos Shadow acting as a
surrogate mother/companion. (No milk, but every other motherly instinct
kicked in!) She is a full sister to Angel, the black filly from last year,
and a paternal sister
to DA Worf and a maternal sister to Impressive Destiny, two of my favorite
horses. She has great bone and substance, plus heart that won't quit - a future performance horse!
Her mama would be proud of her.
