| Blame my husband for the name - when Worf was born he had a funny ridge of hair on his forehead. My husband said it looked like the Klingon on Star Trek - and the name stuck! Today the funny ridge of hair is gone and Worf officially became my husband's horse. He is from the first Sonyet foal crop and I want to make dozens more just like him - though we would be willing to do a 50-50 split on gender. He is big, beautiful, kind and smart. In just 4 times under saddle we were in the hills doing trail rides. His 7th time out was a cattle drive. My daughter thinks he is being wasted on her dad and she is trying to trade him out of his horse - No Luck! He has a huge, ground covering trot and if we can motivate my husband, would make an excellent endurance horse. Worf is a classic example of the kind of "Tent Personality" and athletic horse we are and want to produce. Video footage available as an example of the kind of horse Sonyet is producing. |
